DISCOVERING THE DRAA VALLEY – 5 DAYS
A journey designed for those travelers wishing to immerse themselves in the nature, history and traditions of pre-saharan Morocco, perfect for families with children and for true lovers of slow tourism.
A five-day trip through the largest oasis in North Africa, to discover this unique land hidden between the Atlas mountains and the vast rocky and sandy plateau at the southern border with Algeria. Starting from Marrakech, we’ll cross the High Atlas mountains to reach the silent city of Ouarzazate, at the desert’s gates, from where we’ll head south to explore the heart of the Draa valley, with guided visits to the ancient souk of Agdz, the beautiful Kasbah of Tamnougalt, the prehistoric rock paintings of Tazzarine and the oasis of Zagora, with a short camel trek and a night in a traditional bivouac at the beautiful sand dunes of M’hamid. Upon request, horse riding, mountain bike and walking trails will give us the unique opportunity to enjoy all the atmosphere and charm of these magical places.
